Universal 2.8 Gen Quick Release (SRK-280RD) by NRG Innovations®. 2.8 Generation Quick Release utilizes all the features of the Second Generation Systems ball-locking quick release system engineered with raised sections to prevent the scratching and stretching of the hub while a self locking feature adds increased safety and functionality. This allows much easier release for the steering wheel by providing added leverage and grip onto the pull ring. Perfect for race applications where the use of gloves are required.

Installation

All products require professional installation. Buyer understands that some products may require modifications for correct fitment. Minor adjustments may be necessary as part of the normal installation process. All hoods require hood pins for safety reasons. All carbon fiber products will not sustain any force or weight, for they could be cracked by such force and weight. NRG Innovations has made an effort to produce all its aftermarket products to fit the original factory vehicles as closely as possible. However, some occasional prepping may be necessary for an ideal fit. The buyer needs to perform these steps to his/her satisfaction before installation. If the buyer wishes to paint the products, he or she must pre-fit the parts to the vehicle before painting to ensure proper fit. There are absolutely no returns on painted products.

Exactly What I Wanted

This was ordered with an NRG steering wheel and an OMP hub. They all fit together perfectly and the quick release is smooth. The quick release was a little heavier than I thought it would be, but I am not complaining, if anything I think that means it is better quality. The horn was easy to hook up and it was a lot easier since it came with the connectors on the wires. NRG makes great parts for steering wheels. TRUCKiD, shipped it fast, and always responded to my emails promptly. Would recommend TRUCKiD and NRG to anyone looking for car parts.

This Is Exactly What I Was Looking for

It is made out of good quality, you can never go wrong with NRG. I feel very confident having this on my car. The only thing I wish it came with is where the wires so the airbag won't come on and that's the only gripe I have because other kits that I seen come with it.
