Your doors have seals around the door shells that seal the doors in the door openings, and seals and weatherstripping that seal against both sides of the door windows. Time and temperature can cause these to crack, harden, shrink and generally deteriorate, and physical contact can cause them to tear and break. As a result your Jeep’s doors can rattle in the door openings and the windows can become loose and rattle in the window openings. This can make the cabin noisy and feel drafty, and rain water can enter the cabin and get inside the door.
