Product Details
Plain Vented Front Brake Rotor by Omix-ADA®. Quantity: 1 Per Pack. Disc brake rotors can become scored, warped, cracked, glazed or worn thin. If the ones on your Jeep need replacement, don't spend a lot of dough at the dealer or waste time trying to track them down at the chain store, when you can get OEM quality replacements from the Jeep specialists at Omix-Ada.
If you experience a pulsation in the brake pedal when braking, chances are one of more of your brake rotors have developed thickness variations, excessive runout or hard spots. If you hear a high pitched squeal or squeaks when you brake, you may have glazed rotors (and pads). And if you hear a grinding noise when braking, your pads may have worn down to the backing plates and are making metal-to-metal contact. On further inspection, you may find that the rotors aren't scored too deeply and may possibly only need resurfacing, but keep in mind that a thinner rotor will not be able to handle high heat situations during repeated hard braking and may end up warping. And even if you're not experiencing any brake problems and your rotors look OK, they may be worn beyond the minimum thickness specification.
Any of the aforementioned conditions requires disc brake rotor replacement, so if your Jeep is ready for rotors they can help with new replacement rotors from Omix-ADA. They're the Jeep experts, so you can be assured your rotors will install and function perfectly. They're manufactured from the original type metallurgy, and to a thickness that will work perfectly with your brake pads, for strong stopping power, quiet operation, and long term durability.
