Product Details

UltraFLOW™ In-Tank Fuel Filter by Pentius®. The UltraFLOW Fuel Filters by Pentius are designed to trap the dirt, rust and other contaminates that can otherwise cause engine hesitation, loss of power, hard starting, etc. As a fuel filter ages, more and more contaminants collect inside it gradually restricting the flow of fuel to the engine. The UltraFLOW Fuel Filter is a direct replacement for the stock fuel filter and meets or exceeds original equipment (OEM) specifications.

Question:
Where exactly does this filter go installed in a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek Limited, please? In the Subaru Shop manual it doesn't show anything that looks like this part in your catalog. In the Subaru shop manual it shows a nylon "bag" that attaches to the fuel pump. Thank you.

CARiD Answer:
Hello, normally in a Subaru the inline fuel filter is in the engine bay on the driver's side near the strut tower. The "bag" you're referring to in the shop manual is a fuel pump strainer. The fuel pump normally can be accessed by folding the rear seats down all the way so they're laying flat and with the removal of a few bolts you'd be able to access the fuel pump assembly. Simple answer - part you're looking at should be in the engine bay near the strut tower.
