This complete kit contains everything required for making low-cost, professional quality repairs to damaged rear window defogger grids and tabs in just minutes. This Complete Rear Window Defogger Repair Kit includes materials and instructions to repair scratched or damaged grid lines and to replace broken defogger tabs. This kit includes one bottle of Quick Grid repair compound, one packet of tab adhesive, activator towelette, alcohol towelette, brush, stencil, a 2x5” piece of sandpaper, and an instruction sheet. A solvent-based acrylic Quick Grid repair system is developed to conduct electricity and distribute heat for the repair of breaks in the grid lines of rear window defoggers. A two-part, electrically conductive tab adhesive system (adhesive and activator) is engineered to reapply the tab to the grid. Please note that this product will not work on bare wires that have been soldered to the window grid and removed.
