A combination of heat and humidity can cause rearview mirror bracket buttons to lose their adhesion properties and detach from the windshield, leaving you without a rearview mirror. But there’s no need to worry or pay someone else to have it repaired, as Permatex has everything needed for you to simply reinstall it yourself. The Extreme Rearview Mirror Professional Strength Adhesive is the effective repair solution for quick and easy reattachment of a rearview mirror bracket to a windshield. This product incorporates the same professional strength OEM specified formula that ensures it really works. Note that this adhesive is not recommended for use with plastic buttons. The repair should be made in the shade, ideally at temperatures between 50°F and 75°F.
