Rearview Mirror Adhesive Kit by Permatex®. This OEM approved kit contains everything needed for making professional quality repairs in just a few minutes. The complete kit includes a razor blade, cleaner activator towelette, sandpaper, an alcohol towelette, instructions, and a two-part adhesive that permanently bonds mirror buttons to windshields. The product is not intended for bonding plastic buttons.
A combination of heat and humidity can cause rearview mirror bracket buttons to lose their adhesion properties and detach from the windshield, leaving you without a rearview mirror. But there’s no need to worry or pay someone else to have it repaired, as Permatex has everything needed for you to simply reinstall it yourself. The Rearview Mirror Adhesive Kit is the complete repair solution for quick and easy reattachment of a rearview mirror bracket to a windshield. It contains a razor blade, cleaner activator towelette, sandpaper, an alcohol towelette, instructions, and a strong adhesive that permanently bonds old or new metal mirror buttons to windshields in minutes. Note that this kit is not recommended for use with plastic buttons. The repair should be made in the shade, ideally at temperatures between 50°F and 75°F.
