Super Weatherstrip Adhesive (81731) by Permatex®, 5 oz. Tube. This premium adhesive is highly effective on many applications including rubber, metal, carpeting, fabric-backed vinyl upholstery, and automotive gaskets. Its drying characteristics allow for repositioning parts after contact is made. The product is resistant to temperature extremes, water, gasoline, kerosene, antifreeze, and most solvents.
Super Weatherstrip Adhesive by Permatex is a viscous liquid contact type cement ideal for all types of automotive weatherstripping, decorative trim, as well as door, trunk, and body side moldings. It is an air-drying contact cement that provides quick bonding yet maintains enough versatility in tack to allow large areas to be spread and bonded at one time. This adhesive develops maximum strength after all the solvent has been released. Non-porous surfaces, if assembled while the adhesive is wet, will prevent solvent evaporation, and the adhesive will take longer to dry and achieve maximum strength.
