    Product Details

Passenger Side Seat Bracket with Standard Bolt Pattern (SB208PA) by Planted Technology®. The Planted Seat Bracket is made with 3/16" thick steel for superior strength. It will not bend or warp with heat whereas other brackets can be bent by hand. It is built to accept sliders from most major seat manufacturers like Braum, Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, NRG, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status and Takata. Extra material is provided for direct seat or side mount applications where eliminating sliders are preferred. They are finished with a black powder coat and applications are available for most cars.

    Installation

Attaching your racing seat to the floor is an important task, because a loose or wobbly seat can cause an accident, and won’t keep you planted safely in the seat if there is an accident. Planted Technology is insistent that the seat bracket be specific to the vehicle to ensure proper fit. If you’re a skilled fabricator with a few hours to kill, or are willing to hire one, you won’t need to purchase a bracket. Frankly, that’s dumb. Avoid the hassle and be sure your seats will fit properly by purchasing a bracket that was engineered specifically for your vehicle.

    Very Pleased
Received my driver's side seat bracket for 2003 Tacoma in good condition. Very heavy and well made. To be honest I expected there to be a problem matching up the holes on the bracket with the Tacoma bolt pattern. I placed the bracket on the floor and... they matched up! Theres an extension to attach your seat belt receiver to but youll need to use a short length but thick diameter bolt to attach it. I did need to do a little modification (drilled two holes) to get my aftermarket seat to attach to the bracket but thats to be expected. Seat and bracket are now solidly attached in my Tacoma with no other issues.

    Needs More Quality Control
They looked good when they showed up, but the holes did not line up. The rear outboard weldment was not alligned properly. I own a machine shop, so it was not too difficult to correct the problem. The beef that I have is that I paid premium $ for a vehicle specific part, and it did not fit. If I had the time, I would have returned them. If I had the time I could have fabbed them myself. I paid the money because I did not have the time. Planted Technology needs to check their jigging for 2004 Tacoma brackets.

    New Seats and Mounting Bracket
The Planted seat bracket fit perfectly in our Mopar e-body to mount new Sparco seats. Processing and delivery were quick. Fit is so much better than other brackets we have tried and the bolt kit saved a lot of running around.

Perfect fit! These are really nice. Better than I had hoped for. The Kia Soul seat rails mounted onto the brackets with ease.

    Not So Easy Install
Slightly off of factory alignment. Had to trim slightly. Did not match with the aftermarket slider rail I bought. To be honest the install process was kind of a nightmare. I finally just bolted the NRG seat to the bracket. All in all, it's 140 dollars for something that sort of works. Kind of a rip off.

    Well Built Product
These guys build a quality product. It fits, is of high quality material and excellent workmanship! And the price is not bad for the correct layout of mounting holes. Put in a note for dummies like me that says to read the tags glued to the frame! My fault not theirs.

    Seat Brackets
I had to order these brackets so my new Braum seats will fit in my 2004 Nissan 350z. At first, I wondered why they cost so much, but after getting them in and seeing the quality I was amazed, well worth the money and time to order them. Fits perfect and I would highly recommend these brackets.
