Ceramic pads ensure consistent braking power and low wheel dust generation thanks to the Evolution ceramic low dust formula. PowerStop uses enhanced poly-ceramic formula with dual layer rubberized shims that ensures quiet braking and cleaner, dust-free wheels.

PowerStop Ceramic Brake Pads are chamfered and slotted like OE pads to provide noise-free braking and feature a powder coated backing plate that extends pad lifespan thanks to high rust and corrosion resistance. POWERSTOP ROTORS AND PADS ARE FOR STREET AND RECREATIONAL OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED OR APPROVED FOR OFF-ROAD RACING OR COMPETITIVE DRIVING. FAILURE OF COMPONENTS USED FOR ANY TYPE OF RACING IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

POWERSTOP PERFORMANCE BRAKE KITS WITH AND WITHOUT CALIPERS (KIT, K26, K36, MDK, ESK, KCL, C26, C36, MDC), PURCHASED AND INSTALLED AS A KIT:

If a customer is not satisfied with the quality and performance of a kit for any reason within 60 days of the invoice date or the installation date by a professional technician (an invoice from the installation shop is required), and the required break-in procedure was implemented, PowerStop LLC will provide a one-time exchange of the kit for a new one. This no-questions-asked, 60 day warranty must be facilitated by the authorized PowerStop retailer.

PowerStop LLC warrants this product to be free from defects and poor workmanship for 3 years from the purchase date or 36,000 miles of use, whichever occurs first. The product, when properly installed on the type of vehicle prescribed, and in which a defect in workmanship and material is found, will be exchanged free of charge if returned to the seller who is authorized to give this warranty. *The primary cause of DTV, or “warped brake rotors,” stems from using an improper break-in procedure or executing long stops from high speeds without properly releasing the brake pedal after coming to a stop.

Powerstop Geomet Plain Rotors

So far, after approx. 100 miles, the brakes work well. I had Powerstop cross drilled and slotted rotor prior to the replacement with these plain rotors. The cross drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads started to make a lot of noise during hard braking, after around 50K miles. I noticed that the rear brakes rotors slots were packed with brake material on the inside surface when I examined them after removal.

Better Than Any OEM Rotors, Calipers and Pads

I started using these on my Avalon and my wife's Lexus RX-350 about 3 years ago. I drive a lot of miles - in excess of 50,000 a year and have just recently replaced the front rotors and pads on the Avalon. Back ones are still fine. I have 250K miles on the Avalon and the calipers were still in great shape - and the pads were still in good shape. I have had them on for about 100K - but unfortunately - the front rotors did warp - that is why I ordered this set to replace them. My wife drives much less but has had no problems over the last several thousand miles. We both have the powdered coated calipers and doubt I will ever order any other rotors/pads or calipers again. In spite of the warping issue - 100K is a lot of miles - so I am not complaining. TRUCKiD is where I go for almost everything I order for my cars - people are great to work with and I recently ordered the front bearing kits for my Avalon. Find a good mechanic you can trust that will put them on - many will not let you furnish parts.

Easy ordering. Fast free shipping. Packaged very well. All hardware included. Installation has been non-eventful. Definitely recommend. Still have to install rear axle kits. Didn't realize I have to pull hubs to replace discs, so, didn't get new seals!! Looking forward to better brakes!
