Pyramid® WH12 - Studio Pro Series 12" 500W 8 Ohm SVC Subwoofer

Just looking at the specs, I had assumed that these were home woofers. I ran them in my rig for schnitzengiggle after I saw them advertised as car audio, and at least in my charger, I was unimpressed. They seem to need alot of room to develop their sound, and the result of running them in a trunk was basically a super weak non-resonating thud grumble grumble grrrrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuummmmmbbbbbllle thud kind of sounds, as if they were super under-driven. HOWEVER- as my home theater subs, in sealed boxed, these things THUMP and resonate hard enough to DO CPR on a guy, just put the victim up to the speakers, dial up the volume on a bass heavy tune, and they will get that ticker going again in just a couple hits. They ABSOLUTELY made my neighbors move. These things rumble the whole house. Just point em towards corners of the room, and tell the kids its an earthquake. Love em for a good action movie, or basically any music where you want to get a vibratory back massage just sitting on the couch.
