RT1000 Series Lowback Racing Seat, Black (RT1000LBHG-116) by Racetech®. Fibreglass. This seat ideal for fitting into low cabins or as an alternative for classic cars and custom projects where FIA homologation is not required. This race seat has harness slots at the hip making it possible to use a 4-point seat belt, suede wear patches and a quilted centre panel.

Warranty

Homologation

For seats meeting the FIA 8855-1999 standard, homologation is valid for 5 years after the date of manufacture. Seats approved to the newer 8862-2009 standard are homologated for 10 years after manufacture. The expiry date is shown following the text ‘Not valid after’ on your homologation label.

Labels

Your Racetech seat has an important sticker on the base displaying the serial number and seat model – for ease of identification this should not be removed. In addition to this sticker, all FIA Approved seats have the homologation label and anti-counterfeit hologram on the right side of the seat – remove this label and/or hologram and the seat loses its FIA Approval.

Warranty

Racetech seats are fully warranted against faulty workmanship and materials. If a fault develops through a manufacturing or material defect, the company will either repair or replace it.

Suitable

It is very comfortable and perfect for small to mid-frame people as I am. Good lateral support. It suits me very well.

Comfortable

The seat is comfortable and affordable. Seat is quite stiff. I do use the Hans and I never had any issues at all. Waiting to buy my second one before next season.
