Each remanufactured transmission is completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and all parts that will be reused painstakingly inspected by professional technicians. A Tru-Flat qualification process is applied to the case, valve body and pump to prevent cross-leaks and pressure loss. All new friction clutch plates and band linings are installed, as required, along with new spec bushings to improve internal fluid flow control and pressures. The valve body is fully remanufactured, and a complete system correction and calibration kit installed to improve pressure control and shift quality.

The pump is completely remanufactured with new line bore bushings to eliminate leaks and provide superior flow and durability. The fully remanufactured torque converter is tested for leaks, lockup, concentricity, and balance. Upgrades to the torque converter exceed OE requirements and eliminate the possibility of front seal leaks, premature bushing wear, and vibration. Finally, the transmission undergoes a road simulation test using a custom dynamometer testing program called CARS (Computer Aided Road Simulation), which includes both cold and hot testing.
