Did the job but could be better
I installed this lift support on my 2007 Element to replace the weak old one. it holds up the trunk, but after about three months it started feeling a little less stable when fully opened. If you open the trunk a lot, might want to invest in something stronger.

Good product, not quite OEM quality
The trunk opens just fine now, but this support feels slightly less sturdy than the original one. It's good for the price though, definitely worth the buy if you're looking to save a few bucks.

Trunk stays up!
finally, my trunk lid stays up! no more bumps on my head. pretty sturdy and reliable so far. wish it was a bit cheaper tho.
