Appearance installed is great. Easy to hook up my tow vehicle. Traveled 600 miles on first trip and it went perfect.

All Is Well that Ends Well
I used the "chat" to find out what I needed as a base plate for the Ready Brute tow bar. I was told that I needed the Roadmaster 1621-1, with the 1/2" clevis. It takes a little work to enlarge several holes in the frame of my tow car, to take the 1/2" bolts. If you have any problems with everything fitting, call the tech support guys. This is my first tow car for my RV, so unless you have all the knowledge needed to do the job, call them, very helpful. They figured out that what I needed was the adapter bar to get the clevis to connect. Now that everything is installed I can measure my RV hitch from the ground, and my tow car base plate. I needed a 10" hi-low hitch receiver adapter. I ordered that and a hitch electric plug adapter from TRUCKiD. Why TRUCKiD, because they are there if I have any questions. The only place to go if you are the do-it-yourself guy, and I am 70 years old.

Great step by step instructions up to the torch specs on the bolts. You yes such vague description of the bolt size ie... grade 5 - 5/8 torch to 57 ft lbs how about. If you say if your using 9/16ths socket then torch to 57 ft lbs that is to ease if your using 3/4 socket then torch to 150 ft lbs see that's easy to understand and easy to follow. You see how much easier that would be for the common Joe trying to do this. There where some really ugly ass welds. I can't weld but seen enough if them to know some of yours look like shot.
