Although the extenders are "Universal", I had to slightly modify them. After extending the middle hole, they now work perfectly. My wife is happy, so I'm happy.

The product arrived timely and was easy to install. Personally, I believe these are required to allow the running board/step to be effective. Even my wife with her size 5 shoe could not use the step without the extender. Now it is functional.

Really worked well with the running boards, moved them out about 2 inches.

The only issue we had was two of the four bolts we used to connect the extender locked up partway on and we couldn't get them back off without taking an electric saw to them and cutting them off. Replaced with bolts we had lying around and good to go from there. If those hadn't locked up on us, would been a super fast installation and all 5 stars. Probably an outlier, but it is what it is.

Awesome option at a very low cost.

Bought these for a 2012 Toyota Tacoma, I thought they moved the side steps out too far, so I took them off. They are well-made and easy to install.

My wife and I absolutely love these side steps. They give just the right amount of boost to get in and out of our Buick Enclave. They arrived quickly. There were no missing parts. They were packaged perfect to insure they arrived safely. The precise fit for our vehicle was amazing. There was no issues getting them installed, after getting around the insulation under the vehicle. The holes lined up perfectly. They also make our Enclave look so much better as they go very well with the brown and black colors of the vehicle. They are also priced reasonable. We had asked at the dealer ship about running boards and they wanted $500.00 for the boards and install. We saved money and got a better product.

Side steps have a great looking finish. Installation was a breeze.

The product arrived in excellent condition. You can tell care was taken when packaging the running boards. The looked great with the car.

Pros: product looks and feels solid. The finish is great looking matte powder black. There are no chrome accents, which is great for a car that doesn’t have any chrome on the exterior. Bars are rounded without visible caps on ends – this is nice too. Cons: however, it is not install-able on my Jeep Cherokee 2016 Latitude. This product requires 51.75” between mounting brackets, while utilizing existing mounting points on the frame. However, the distance between brackets, when installed on existing mounting points is 49” max. Therefore, it is not possible to install this product properly. And even though this product utilizes existing mounting points, it still requires drilling 2 holes per each side, in the vehicle’s body. In order to drill these holes, you have to remove plastic panels from underneath doors. While the removal is not that complicated, you will have to also remove blue plastic holders and reattach them to plastic panels, in order to reattach plastic panels after installation. So, this product is great quality and looks wise, but it needs some re-engineering in order to: 1. allow installation on Latitude 2016 2. avoid drilling holes in car’s body. TRUCKiD are great with providing help, instruction, return labels etc. I just bought side steps from them made by different company, because TRUCKiD's pricing is very reasonable and they have great after sale support and service.
