Rough Country® 10598 - Trail Series Stubby Black Powder Coated Rear HD Bumper with Tire Carrier

On the stock receiver there are two bolts that go to the bumper. This bumper has no accommodation for the two bolts. I was driving down the road with a 9k lb dump trailer and it sheered the rest of the bolts off the hitch and dragged the dump trailer on the pavement, bent the tongue, ruined my speedy turnover ball. When I called RC they had no answer. Now I'm buying a $575 class 5 receiver to be able to tow again. Not sweet.

Amazing product, looks amazing and fits right on!

For the price it's heavier gauge metal than I expected which is great. The installation was simple even for 1 guy doing it. First complaint that makes this 4 stars instead of 5 are the horrible license plate lights. They are a complete afterthought. The wire gauge might be 28 awg and such a pain to work with. Creating a better universal solution for this would be huge. Second complaint. The square spot lights don't come with any sort of gasket to seal up against the bumper. A rubber or foam rubber gasket should always included with these style lights. Like all companies the instructions are junk and miss a lot of information and are not color. Still easy to install. License plate lights are a absolute afterthought. A higher quality universal light with a deutch connector would at least allow us to buy an adapter instead of struggling with the garbage bolt replacement lights.

Bumper is awesome, only minor gripes. I had to drill holes to mount the led plate lights and it sits about 1” lower that stock so the gap under tailgate is bigger.
