If door hinges were lubed once in a while, they might last the life of the vehicle, but who does that? Instead, the metal in those dry hinges slowly abrades the contact surfaces until there's plenty of slop in the pivot, resulting in a door that rattles going down the road, sags when it's opened, and has to be lifted up to latch properly.
It's a shame that nobody maintained those hinges, but now that they're worn out you have an opportunity to upgrade and dress up your Jeep. You can get the semi-gloss black if you insist, but why not opt for the polished or satin stainless steel for the "wow" factor; they'll never rust. Your Jeep will look great and your doors will feel like brand new.

Great
They look great and do fit my Jeep quite well. The hinges work good, the installation was pretty easy. It took me around 30 minutes to put both if them on.
