Innovative Function
Most wheel nut safety products allow the lug nut to loosen first and only then alert drivers to dangerous conditions. Zafety Lug Lock® uses a proprietary design that lessens the ability of two adjacent lug nuts to rotate and become loose. This reduces the risk of potential wheel loss and the possibility of expensive wheel damage.
WHEEL NUTS LOOSEN AS A RESULT OF TEMPERATURE CHANGE, WHEEL END VIBRATION AND SURFACE CORROSION
Zafety Lug Lock® is fabricated from design engineered plastic that has been independently tested under varying temperature and vibration conditions with no evidence of lug nut loosening (formerly Bodycote Testing Group, report no 08-003-C0185). Standard Formulation suitable for wheel end temperatures up to 300°F (149°C).
