Scosche warrants to the original purchaser of a Scosche product that its product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship per the terms of the warranty applicable to the specific product. Scosche provides a range of warranties, which will vary from product to product. Its warranties range from a limited one-year warranty up to a limited lifetime warranty.

Limited one, two, three year warranty

Scosche Industries warrants all products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period stated on each product commencing upon the date of purchase. If no specific warranty period is stated on a product user manual and/or packaging, the default warranty will be one year from the original date of purchase. Scosche products are sold with the understanding that the purchaser has independently determined the suitability of this product. This warranty is offered to the original purchaser of this product only.

This warranty does not cover the product if physically damaged, subject to negligence or misuse, abuse, alteration, accident, or an act of God. This warranty does not apply to the product that has water or physical damage by accident or which has been misused, disassembled or altered.

In no event shall Scosche Industries, Inc. be responsible for claims beyond the replacement value of the defective product or in any way shall be liable or responsible for consequential or incidental damages. No express warranties and no implied warranties, whether for fitness or any particular use or otherwise, except as set forth above (which is made expressly in lieu of all other warranties) shall apply to products sold by Scosche. Scosche Industries cannot be held responsible for discrepancies/inconsistencies that may occur due to 3rd party manufacturing changes or options.

Limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser

Products manufactured and identified by Scosche Industries, Inc. (“Scosche”) come with a limited lifetime warranty (“lifetime warranty”). Lifetime warranty designed products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product as follows:

Consumer tech products: Lifetime warranty on all non-electronic parts 3-year limited warranty on all electronic parts and speaker drivers

12V automotive products: Lifetime warranty on all non-electronic parts 2-year limited warranty on all electronic parts and speaker drivers

Scosche guarantees that all its products that carry its limited lifetime warranty will function as represented. Upon proof of warranty coverage, it will repair or replace the defective product with a new or refurbished same or similar model of equal or lesser value.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by an accident, improper care, improper use, negligence, or excessive wear and tear.

This warranty sets forth specific legal rights. The customer may have other rights as a result of variations in state or federal law. This warranty supersedes any prior lifetime warranty statements for Scosche products.

Exclusions and limitations

Except for the lifetime warranty expressly set forth above, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Scosche expressly disclaims any and all other warranties expressed or implied, including any warranty of quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Its liability shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the product. You specifically agree that Scosche shall not be liable for any special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or other damages or penalties for breach of any warranty of any type on any Scosche product. In addition to and without limiting the generality of the foregoing disclaimers, the lifetime warranty does not, under any circumstances, cover damage to any electronic device or personal property attached to or used in conjunction with the Scosche product.

No Clear Specifications or Instructions

How about instead of promoting Scoshe and posting videos of how long they've been in business, post some specifications and details about the product that would actually be helpful for the buyer?

Love It

I was very hesitant purchasing this, but after reading the reviews on car forums I purchased it. I was warned not to buy the Metra kit because it was cheaply made. I recommend this to all the G35 owners.

Decent but Not An Exact Fit

Got this to install a power acoustic stereo in my 2008 jeep liberty. This is infinitely better that the Metra kit which was a complete piece of crap. With that said this one still doesn't fit quite right. The side panels don't fit flush with the sides of the stereo. As a result they bow out slightly making it a tight fit. The stereo also doesn't sit far enough forward leaving a pretty large gap in the dash. This was the only kit that came close to fitting as described but it's hardly perfect. Would recommend as long as you don't mind that.

Not Quite Right

This dash kit is infinitely better than the Metra kit. Sturdy and simple. Unfortunately the slots just don't quite line up with the screw holes in the stereo. It also doesn't allow the radio to sit forward enough in the dash, leaving a slight gap at the bottom of the opening. Looks good enough I guess. It's definitely better than the Metra.

Works as Expected

A bit confusing at first, but you should be fine after the first 20 seconds. I used this with my Jeep Compass 2016 and installed them a bit behind to make it flush with the bezel. Looks great, you will be happy with it.
