Coolant Reservoir (Degas) Cap by Sinister Diesel®. The factory degas cap on the 6.7L Powerstroke is a plastic component exposed to constant heat cycles and pressure. Over time, plastic caps can weaken, lose sealing strength, or fail — leading to coolant loss and inconsistent system pressure. The Sinister Diesel Coolant Reservoir (Degas) Cap is a direct replacement designed to work with both the OEM plastic coolant tank and Sinister Diesel aluminum coolant reservoirs. CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum and rated at 21 PSI, it helps maintain proper cooling system pressure while eliminating a common factory weak point. With an integrated pressure relief system and durable anodized finish, this cap is built to perform long term while adding a clean, upgraded look under the hood.
