    Product Details

Fuel Tank Lock Ring (LO34) by Spectra Premium®. For Air Vent. Every time you replace the fuel tank or fuel pump module, don't forget to change the fuel tank lock ring that secures the fuel pump module to the fuel tank. With OE design, this product helps ensure proper tank sealing to prevent pressure or fuel leaks.

When you replace the fuel tank or fuel pump module, you should replace your fuel tank locking ring too. The original locking ring can deteriorate and not exert enough pressure to keep the fuel tank sealed when installed. Fuel tank sealing is not only important to prevent fuel leaks but also to prevent pressure leaks on OBD II vehicles when the engine control computer tests the EVAP system. This Fuel Tank Lock Ring Kit requires no vehicle modification for installation.

    Solved My Fuel Leak Issues
Started noticing a slow leak in my old tank. Replaced it with a new Spectra Premium. Well-built and fit without any issues. Been running it for a few months now with zero problems.

    Exact Fit for My Van
Had issues with my van not taking gas right, as it turned out my tank was messed up inside. It's a big fuel tank so be ready to wrestle with it during install. It fit, no leaks or issues.

    Perfect Fit, Easy Installation!
I had purchased both the front and rear fuel tanks by Spectra Premium. I purchased for my 1993 Ford F150. I had a bit of (initial) confusion concerning the many possible wiring color combinations listed for the connections, (12) possible combinations, do not fear this. Through process of elimination you will figure this out. Just read all the color combinations and you will indeed be able to wire these tanks properly. I had heard of the confusion prior to this purchase so I had researched this on YouTube, this did help to understand further but I had to compare the simple instructions and found it rather easy to complete. As a note: ensure the side mounted tank bottom of tank sits level with the ground as if this side tank is tilted (not level across bottom) the sending unit for the fuel will be slightly inaccurately displayed.. Its necessary to be level across the bottom of tank so the float on the sending unit shows "accurately".

    Great Product
This fits my 96 F150 with no issues at all, it was super easy to deal with right out of the gate and didn't cost much at all. My only grip with it is that it is made in China (what isn't nowadays). But as to the function of it, I had the old one out and this in place in less than 20 minutes. There isn't a thing in the world more you can ask for.
