    Product Details

    Aluminum Chrome Cold Air Intake System with HPR® Filter (9089) by Spectre Performance®. Spectre air intake systems are designed to get more horsepower and torque from your vehicle while working to protect your engine from harmful debris. This air intake system comes with a washable, reusable low restriction Spectre High Performance Racing (HPR) air filter, polished aluminum intake tubing and a black powder coated 2-piece heat shield to help prevent heated engine air from entering the intake inlet. Spectre air intakes come with velocity stack, stainless steel clamps, couplers, and all necessary hardware for an OE fit and finish. MAFS mounts directly on the intake tube.

    Installed After 2 Years on My 2016 Toyota 4Runner
    Great kit. Easy install. Works great but I broke the fuel vent hose tube on the aluminum pipe because the rubber hose was to small in diameter. So we left the hose off with no issues.

    Adapter
    The instructions that come with this are very confusing and don’t give you any sense as to which adapter to use for which place I have spent the last 6 hours trying to get this together and not a single instruction has helped. I have searched throughout the internet and still no luck. Kinda wish it would’ve come with simpler instructions that told you which adapters go where.

    Good for the Price.
    I noticed increased performance and increased gas mileage. Not hard to install and will add good visual upgrade. It's worth the price, I've had mine for a year without any issues.

    Bought for my 2006 is350. Beautifully designed and it is definitely an exact fit. Heat shield and intake are high quality and sound great. I got the blue filter lol

    Giving it 3 stars because it only gave my car a little push for abt a week then went back to feeling like stock. And did not have the right hardware in the kit. Had to buy the right size bolts.

    Much better now
    I installed this on my 2013 f150 5.0. Easy enough to put in. I wasn't completely sure what to expect after reading so many pros and cons about cold air intakes with out getting tuned. After start up, the engine was only slightly louder than before. The real change came after driving. A deeper sound from the engine, but what was a more significant change was the throttle response. Quicker acceleration off the line and smoother as well. My truck has 93000 miles and is in near showroom condition but wasn't as responsive on the low end like I would want it to be. That has changed, not dramatically but noticeably to be sure. I'm very happy with the product even though I installed it a week ago. I really cant believe that a similar product with a higher price tag would change what I'm getting so much it would be worth the extra money.

    It's a Good Enough Intake
    The intake is fairly easy to install though the instructions where wrong in a few minor spots but it didn't take too long to figure out. Though I would have preferred to buy a different one like the Weapon-R secret weapon cold air intake, unfortunately my state only allowed certified modifications, so this was the only option. It's better than stock at least.
