Spyder lights feature projector beams, halo lights, LEDs, and fiber optics. The bulb in a projector light is placed in front of an elliptical-shaped reflector that reflects the light toward a focal point in front of the bulb, for a sharper, more focused beam of light with less scatter loss. Halos are light rings that surround the headlight. They’re illuminated by 2 bright LED bulbs, or they can be the CCFL type and filled with gas, like a neon sign.

The compact size of LEDs makes them easy to group together, and when assembled in this manner, they’re more luminous than incandescent bulbs. They can also be arranged in distinctive patterns, for an unmatched custom effect. LEDs are extremely durable, with an average lifespan of 50,000-75,000 hours.
