The arm design and Cinch Lever of the Gateway Trunk Mount Bike Rack make this rack adjustable to accommodate various bicycle frame designs. And the Stay-put cradles and Anti-sway cages will ensure that whatever style bikes you carry, they'll arrive safely and undamaged.

    Thule® - Gateway Trunk Mount Bike Rack for 3 Bikes Installation Instructions

    If you're a bike riding family, you need a bike rack that can carry all your bikes, regardless of size or style: road bikes and kids' bikes for riding around at the park, and mountain bikes for hitting the trails. The Gateway is the versatile trunk mounted rack that can carry virtually any size and style bike. The narrow bike arms can accommodate a variety of bikes and they're positioned to provide ample spacing between bikes to prevent bike-to-bike contact during transport. The Cinch Levers™ allow the bike arms to adjust independently and easily for unique bike frames.

    The patented FitDial with Quick-Fit lever makes installing the Gateway a snap. Its long, curved tubes provide so much clearance even vehicles with spoilers can carry this rack. Maximum strength nylon straps are used to secure the rack to the vehicle, for the safest installation. The Gateway is fitted with oversized ribbed molded pads that are gentle to your vehicle's finish and channel water away to prevent the accumulation of dirt.

    To protect your bikes during transit, the Gateway has features like Hold-Fast™ cradles with soft-saddle material to protect your bikes' finish and No-Sway™ cages that prevent bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact. It's available in a version that carries up to 2 bikes and one that carries up to 3. It comes with everything necessary for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.

    100% Great
    Got this bike rack for my mom for Christmas and it's wonderful! She had a bike rack previously but when she purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra it did not fit properly. This bike rack is great and works awesome on her vehicle. Very satisfied!

    Great Product
    Looks great and a lot more sturdy than I had expected. A little overpriced but great look and durability make up for that. Very pleased with this product.

    Great Product
    This is an excellent product. I had some trouble figuring out how to install and needed some help figuring it out. Once I saw how to install, it was simple to put on the car. The only problem I had with the product description was it did not indicate in more simple terms that I needed an extra part. I have a 'girls' bike and do not have the bar that goes across the top from the seat to handlebars. It states it holds a standard bike, I thought I had a standard bike. I had to purchase this part and wished I knew that when I bought the rack. When I discovered the problem, customer service was excellent and prompt. They steered me in the right direction, and I was able to use the rack. It is very sturdy, and I do not have any fear hanging the bike on my Malibu and driving around.

    Thule Gateway Trunk Mount Bike Rack
    Although I was told this product had the locking feature the same as the Archway, I was very pleased with the product. It's a little heavier than I was told but not so much that I could not handle it myself. The instructions were easy enough to read, but the pictures were very misleading. It showed the anti-sway cages on the same side, which logically did not make sense to me, so I removed it, and it's broken. I had it right the first time. The anti-sway cage breaks very easily, and I had to replace it, but the cage itself is extremely inexpensive. I had to get the parts from my local bike dealer, as Thule themselves was sold out, which tells me, the cages are commonly broken. All in all, the color, style, and fit are great. I got an excellent deal.

    Quality Product
    I purchased the Thule Gateway bike rack from the TRUCKiD website just prior to relocating from Southern California to Southern Oregon. I stowed 1 road bike on the made-for-2 rack and traveled over 700 miles at speeds exceeding 80mph, no problems. I took it upon myself to watch video reviews of the installation before departing. This is definitely advised, one if not the best way to ensure the installation is correct, will stand the distance and speeds.

    Thule Trunk Mount
    The trunk mount is a good product, but it does not work on the Volkswagen CC. The side straps does not stay in place and slides down the trunk. I believe it's because the CC trunk is more circular as appose to boxy or somewhat square at the bottom of the trunk.

    Thule Raceway Bike Rack (Trunk Mount)
    I am delighted with this bike rack and its performance. It is a heavy duty, well-made, quality product that is perfectly designed and very sturdy. It was purchased to transport my (one) bike from Massachusetts to Florida on my 2013 Nissan Altima, and I am very happy with the choice I made. The directions and illustrations in the manual required me to re-read several times to get the rack installed correctly, but once installed, it was clear that I made the correct choice for the long haul.

    Thule Rack on Miata
    The product appears to be well-made, but the instructions are generic. It will hold two bikes as advertised.
