Product Details

Universal Delrin Tear Drop Shift Knob by Torque Solution®. Tear Drop shift knob is made from an aerospace polymer Delrin material. Delrin material is impervious to heat and cold. Making it an excellent choice for racing applications and for daily driving in hot and cold climates. It is also not slippery and will not rattle like some metal knobs do. The hole extends as deep as possible to give you the lowest possible installed height.

Feels Incredible, Threads Start a Little Deep Though.
On its own, it fit my shift rod perfectly, but I was left with an unattached boot. Because the threading starts so deep inside, in order to pair it with the Acuity boot collar I had to order a threading die to extend the threads on the rod by about 1/2 inch. Not a complaint, but something to be aware of! The Delrin feels fantastic in hand, and in my experience (it's the same material the melodic part of my bagpipes is made of) it will wear into a nice glossy finish after a couple years of use.
