Grille by TruParts®. Standard Line. Chrome. The grille is vulnerable to airborne debris, which can wear the paint and chrome and cause cracks and other damage. And even a minor front end collision can severely damage a grille. If you're in the market for new grille and you've been stunned by the price at the dealer, TruParts has quality replacement grilles that are similar to original equipment (OE) for much less than the OE price.

In the old days, bumpers were chrome plated pieces of steel supported by steel brackets. If anything was damaged, repair was simple and straightforward. Today's bumpers are much more complicated, with many more parts. The main bumper is covered by a plastic cover, which may be painted the same color as the body, and the cover will have trim strips or guards attached to it. Instead of just brackets, a modern bumper will have impact absorbers or shocks, which allow the bumper to flex inward upon impact, and these will be hidden by bumper-to-body filler panels. Needless to say, any of these components can be damaged in even a minor fender bender and require replacement.

In the past your options for replacing a damaged bumper component were finding a good used one, buying a cheap replacement, or paying big bucks for an OE bumper component. Because damage to these parts is so prevalent, searching for a useable piece from a scrap yard is a waste of time. And many cheap replacement bumper components don't fit properly and aren't even made of the proper gauge material.

Warranty

TruParts offers a limited warranty on all its parts as follows:

CAPA and/or NSF certified exterior collision replacement parts, including but not limited to sheet metal, bumpers, grills, are covered with a limited lifetime warranty. TruParts warrants these parts against defects in material and workmanship (and against rust perforation on sheet metal). Bulbs contained in lighting, including but not limited to headlights, taillights, and turn signal lights, are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from delivery date. Warranty coverage begins on the original date of purchase and extends for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which they are installed. Any part that is found to be defective will be repaired, replaced or exchanged at TruParts' discretion.

Non-CAPA and/or non-NSF certified parts: exterior collision replacement parts, including but not limited to sheet metal, bumpers, grills, and headlamps, are warranted against defects in material and workmanship (and against rust perforation on sheet metal) for a period of 5 years/unlimited mileage to the owner of the vehicle (ownership at the time of part installation) on which they are installed. Bulbs contained in lighting, including but not limited to headlights, taillights, and turn signal lights, are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 30 days from delivery date. Any part that is found to be defective will be repaired, replaced or exchanged at TruParts' discretion.

Radiators, condensers, mirror motors, air conditioning components, electrical components, window motors/regulators, suspension parts, cooling fans, and other parts not listed but offered by TruParts (unless stated otherwise on the accompanying documentation specific to that part) are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 1 year/unlimited mileage from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. Any part that is found to be defective will be repaired, replaced or exchanged at TruParts' discretion.

TruParts reserves the right to inspect any part prior to replacement. This warranty may not be varied, supplemented, qualified, or interpreted by any prior course of dealings and is limited (non-transferable) to the original vehicle owner at the time repairs are made. There is no other express warranty on TruParts replacement parts.

Warranty Limitations: This warranty does not cover parts that fail due to improper installation or maintenance, collision, abuse, misuse, neglect, alteration, impact, accident, racing, or electrolysis. All warranties are null and void if the vehicle is used as a snow plow or other heavy commercial use, in a fleet, taxi, police or government vehicle, or limo service or has been converted from private passenger use to commercial or fleet use, or is used for racing or other competition or off-road recreational purposes. The sheet metal warranty does not cover: surface corrosion resulting from chips, scratches, or other causes; corrosion perforation caused by improper installation, neglect, accident, abuse, or any event not considered normal use to your vehicle; damage from the environment, including weather, hail damage, airborne fallout (chemicals, acid rain, etc.), cleaning solvents and/or polishing materials. To the extent allowed by law, loss of time, towing costs, rental charges, travel expenses, incidental damages, or loss of use or inconvenience, loss of use of the vehicle, commercial loss and lost profit damages are not covered and excluded.

All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty and do not cover incidental or consequential damages. TruParts specifically disclaims all liability for any consequential, incidental, and special damages resulting from defective parts. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. TruParts' maximum liability for claims arising from a defective part shall be limited to the replacement of the part or a remedy not to exceed the price paid for the part, at TruParts' option. The limited warranties contained above are granted only to the original owner and are not transferable. Warranty coverage begins on date part is delivered regardless of the installation date. Warranty coverage ends on the earlier of warranty expiration date/mileage or the transfer of vehicle ownership.

Great Look but Tricky Install

Decided to spruce up my truck with this grille, and while it looks fantastic and definitely turns heads, the installation gave me a bit of a headache. Some of the clips didn't align perfectly, and I had to fiddle around more than I expected. I'm happy with the outcome, but it wasn't the plug-and-play experience I was hoping for.

No More Road Wear Embarrassment

I was genuinely tired of the worn look my truck had from years of driving through rough roads and the occasional brush with wildlife. The original grille was chipped, cracked, and frankly an eyesore. This replacement not only fixed that issue but actually seems to resist the everyday wear and tear much better. Plus, the installation was straightforward, no hassle at all. Totally satisfied with how it turned out.

Feels like a new ride

So, the old grille on my Mazda was looking pretty beat up, and honestly, it was bumming me out every time I approached my truck. I decided to give this one a go and it did not disappoint. The matte finish is slick, and it fits so well, you'd think it came straight from the factory. I'm pretty stoked about the whole thing, feels like I'm driving a new set of wheels.

Fits, But Had a Small Issue

Overall, the grille is a decent product, especially considering the price. However, it did have a minor defect on one side. Managed to install it anyway, but would've appreciated a bit better quality control.
