Product Details

Universal 1/8" NPT x 3/8" Tube Remote Inlet Air Filter (92622) by Viair®. This product is manufactured to help you with your tire repair and maintenance tasks. Made from quality materials using the latest manufacturing processes and techniques, it ensures a positive user experience and allows for achieving the finest results with minimum effort and expense.

Remote Mount Inlet Air Filter Mounting Instruction

  • Place Remote Mounting Bracket onto Inlet Air Filter assembly and line up attachment holes.
  • Fasten Bracket to Inlet Air Filter with 2 screws provided.
  • Screw 3/8" NPT (F) x 1/2" Tube Fitting onto Inlet Air Filter, hand tighten. (No thread tape needed)
    • Locate appropriate area where Remote Inlet Filter is to be installed. Keep in mind that location should be dry and away from heat source, and that the air inlet slots on the inlet air filter are free from blockage and not facing upward. Drill 3/8" mounting hole. Push Remote Filter Bracket pin into hole. Screw 3/8" NPT (M) x 1/2" Tube Fitting onto compressor's air inlet port, tighten with wrench. (No thread tape needed)
  • Attach provided 1/2" air line to barbed tube fitting of air inlet port of compressor.
  • Route air line to Remote Inlet Air Filter, measure and cut squarely to appropriate length, and attach to Remote Inlet Air Filter.

Stronger
Although my last on lasted for 12 years this one should last longer due to the material used on the air line. However I feel the shipping made up for their lower price.
