By transforming toxic gases into less harmful compounds, the catalytic converter does the important job of limiting emissions. Walker produced crankcase emissions control equipment in the early 1960s and, working closely with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), produced the 1st universal aftermarket catalytic converter in 1978.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Walker warrants qualifying exhaust products against defects and wear out when used on private passenger cars and light trucks under normal operating conditions for as long as such original purchaser owns the vehicle on which they were originally installed. Rust/corrosion damage is not covered by this warranty.

Walker’s obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the worn out or defective product with the same product in accordance with this warranty. Any incidental and consequential damages are excluded under this warranty, regardless of when the failure occurs. This warranty does not apply to products which have been modified, improperly applied or installed on vehicles used for commercial or racing purposes.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Any implied warranties you may have under state law are limited to the same duration as this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusion may not apply to you.

No Box?

Part is fine but not sure if it was dented when shipped or got dented on the way to us. But it wasn't in a box so it was dented. Got 2 parts both not in box and both dented.

Fit

It works as a replacement but the hanger is about 3 1/2 - 4 inches lower than the rubber hanger of my SUV. I had to use a wire from the pipe to the rubber hanger to support the pipe.

Installation

Exhaust system was of good quality except there was a whole pipe completely missing between the two catalytic converters.
