This hood deflector is awesome! Have no complaints about it at all. It’s all about quality, functionality, and value. Has a custom fit and went on easily. Works perfectly. Provides solid front-end protection. Less bugs have a chance to end their days on my windshield. Also, it deflects rugged airborne debris that can otherwise leave dings on the expensive paint job. The deflector is made of tough acrylic material and has a sleek, scratch-resistant finish so I’m sure it will stand up the abuse, whatever life can throw at it. It’s aerodynamic so it won’t create much drag. The stylish design makes it a perfect complement to the bold look of my 2020 Ford F-150. So, it’s a simple yet effective solution against the mess and damage. It’s easy to maintain in good shape. Highly recommend this one.

Looks very nice. The four clips that go in the middle under the hood seal do not work. Not long enough to go in factory holes and if it does then the clips does not even hold in there. Poorly designed clips, I put them on without it so I am hoping it does not fly off while driving.

I have had the bug deflector by weather tech for about two years now. It has held up pretty well for the last year and a half but in the last couple months I’ve been having issues with it. To install the bug deflector you have to use self tapping screws and three-M tape. The three-M tape has been eaten through by the clips to secure it to the hood. Causing it to chip my hood. I’ve tried replacing the tape but it has not worked the same the bug deflector comes loose now and has has scratched up the front of my hood very badly. So if you don’t know how to security bug deflector a different way than what is provided I would recommend not getting this one.

I have been using the bug guard by WeatherTech for two years now. It has healed up good for the last year and a half. But now I have had many issues. To install the bug guard you have to drill self tapping screws into your hood and the clip in onto 3mm tape to secure it to the hood. The clips have eaten through the tape and has chipped my hood and now scratched my hood pretty bad on the sides. I’ve bought new tape to secure it but does not work since chip is in the way now.

Easy install, only issue is the center fasteners provided do not firmly attach the deflector to the hood. I improvised using sheetroc wall pastic fasteners and then used screws to provide a better fit.

Hi. I called over a month ago and had a great conversation with one of your reps. and she assured me a new plastic screw would be sent out. Now I could use two because the screws had to go through rubber that I have under my hood and were not lining up easily. I have two pieces of tape holding where the screws would go. I would appreciate if you could send two more. Thank you and I love the way it covers the nose of the hood.

Easy install - looks great in my white Tacoma - would highly recommend.

Fit well, not difficult to install, looks good, will see if it deflects bugs! My Taco has one and I get bugs on the upper 1/3 of the windshield!
