Westin® 56-5347752 - 4" HDX Cab Length Black Drop Steps with Polished Step Plates

This was shipped promptly, fit perfectly and bolted right up. I would caution you to use anti-seize on your bolts you are taking out. One broke...the packaging was great too with convenient carry handles. I wish it could always work out this well ordering online. Thanks.

Perfect fit for my truck

The steps look great and feel of good quality, only complaint is that the bolts it came with are quite flimsy, as one broke straight off being torqued down. After cussing for about an hour and pulling the bolt loose with a pair of pliers it was replaced with a stronger one and i am very impressed.

Good looking, however, the directions are horrible. If you don't have a high level of mechanical ability or experience with this kind of work, look elsewhere, you won't be able to install them. Ran short on hardware also, a couple of bolts and washers, for what they cost, one would think they would give you a few extra...not a few less.

Just installed my first but not last set of Westin HDX on my Gladiator. Everything matched up perfectly and had them on in 1hr. Quality is not expensive, it's priceless. Definitely a quality product.

Packaging was excellent, product came in well secured box, and items were very adequately padded. But one of the running boards was bent in about inch on the back side that would not be seen. So, I decided to keep them. Extremely easy installation, once you know the exact steps it only takes about hour for both sides with basic hand tools to place on. Have received a lot compliments on item and its been only five days since the running boards were installed. Don't lose any of screws or bolts however, they don't give you spares. Very solid product, not concerned when standing on them. Now, my wife and grandkids can get into the truck very easy. She loves the running boards. I would buy these Westin drop step running boards again.

Replaced these steps just after 1.5 yrs for finish durability. The finish on the replacement set has only lasted about 6 months +/-. Faded out and stained from expensive pH neutral soaps. Its still under warranty and TRUCKiD is helping out, but the hassle is unacceptable. Westin told me to not treat them, even to prevent this recurrence or it would void the warranty, well here we are again. These function and look great but the finish is insufficient in Florida. If you insist on these then I suggest clear coating them because they won't look good for long.

Overall, my experience was great. The installation was a pretty simple job as long as you follow the directions. Great look as well. The only downfall is the flat black paint job that doesn't hold up well to winters involving salt brine and such that collects and creates surface rust. I only had mine less than a year before they started to rust. The good news is Westin backs up their product with a full replacement. I'm getting the new one's powder-coated to match my truck and would suggest the same for anyone else living in my kind of climate. Powder coating will handle the weather a lot better than the factory paint.

Once I figured out the rear mount setup, everything went great!!! Good thing for the internet.
