Warranty

Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. warrants products of its manufacture against defects in material and workmanship. This is provided that the product has been installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. During the warranty period (see below), Whelen will repair or replace (at its option) any parts or electronic assemblies of the unit, which disclose a defect in material or workmanship.

STANDARD 2-YEAR WARRANTY

Whelen siren speakers, when used with a Whelen siren amplifier, are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of manufacture. Heavy-Duty motor assemblies (so marked) are covered by a direct warranty for up to three years from the date of manufacture. For warranty consideration, both the siren speakers and motor assemblies are subject to the conditions and steps described herein.

SIRENS, LED PRODUCT, CONTROL HEADS AND SWITCH BOXES

CenCom®, CanTrol®, 295HFS and 295SLS: Electronic circuit boards are covered by a 5-year warranty. LED Lightheads, IO Boards, and Flashers: Electronic circuit boards are covered by a 5-year warranty. 295SL100 Series, Howler™, Alpha™, Beta™, Epsilon™, HHS, Gamma™and WPS series: Electronic circuit boards are covered by a 2-year warranty. Siren, Traffic Advisor™ Control Heads, and Switch Boxes: Electronic circuit boards are covered by a 2-year warranty. Mechanical components, i.e. Switches, relays, microphones, housings, mounting brackets and hardware are covered for 2 years for defects in material or workmanship. All other electronic circuit and IO boards not expressed herein are covered by a 2-year warranty. Warranty starts from date of manufacture.

12-MONTH WARRANTY — BACK-UP ALARMS

Whelen Back-Up Alarms are covered by a 12-month warranty and are subject to the conditions and steps described herein.

NO WARRANTY

All Whelen Light Bars, Adapters and Halogen Lights have no warranty.

New Light Bar.

If you are looking for good certified bar for a work vehicle you should choose this one. It’s solid and well looking. Great control, no bugs or connection troubles after 3 months of usage. Lights inside were changed couple times and it was easy to do. Great work Whelen. I think we will order more for our dep. Thanks.

Lights.

Delivered faster than promised and this is great. Solid, good looking lights that worth every penny I spent. If you want to order lights that will work for a long time you must choose Whelen. The only complaint I have is it came without any instructions. Thanks to TRUCKiD customer service. These guys are pros. Helped me to install them by the phone, that’s cool. BTW looks like instructions should be inside and it was just a one-time misstep.

Great Purchase

For the first time I thought that spend 1500+ bucks on light bar is madness but you will understand that it’s a great transaction once you will see how it work. Extremely bright and overall feels awesome. Would recommend.

Very good light output. I was wondering why the light bar was so expensive, called the TRUCKiD service to find out 98/% Whelen lights are USA produced. Hope my purchase is worth my money spent.
