Great Fix
The bellows part of the mechanical washer pump on my car was beyond repair and they're no longer available unless you buy a new or used unit. The motor and the washer pump part are still working so I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars replacing it. I found this electrical ACI Windshield Washer Pump and in the description, it said it would adapt to my car. It works fine but the instructions for hooking up the electric aren't very helpful and neither was the rep from TRUCKiD. This is how I hooked it up in case there are other people looking to buy this. As long as the washer part of your motor works this can be used. I cut the wires for the plug that goes into the washer and attached male clips to the cut wires from the plug. Then connected the wires from the cut ends from the motor to the wires coming from the ACI pump and added a female clip to them. The wires provided weren't long enough to where I mounted it so I made a length of wire to fit and put the female clips on the ends. I made the male to female connectors in case I need to replace the pump if it ever goes out. I wrapped the connection with electrical tape so they don't come in contact with each other and short out. The purple wire is for the positive and the yellow is for the negative (this is on my 1961 Olds), the plus and minus are marked on top of the ACI pump. The pump is pretty powerful and it made the stream coming out of the nozzles shoot right over the top of the car. There is a slot for a flat screwdriver on the chrome nozzles and they can be screwed in or out to adjust where they spray on the window.
