They Bah Blow
If your looking for big sound, look elsewhere. This horns look the part, but sound like factory horns. I took out my custom air horns for these and now have to switch back. It took a lots of modifying to get installed. They blow, not. Not recommended if you want a louder sound. The rated DB is off.

Inadequate Sound
Advertised as comparable to Air horns. Sorry. They don't even match the stock OEM in DB level. My mistake was not first testing them prior to installation. I already had Wolo 3 airhorns installed and swap them out for these. Big disappointment. I wanted the same sound level with functional ability to hear my passive alarm system activate when using the key fob. Not recommended.

This was an exact replacement for a 1987 Porsche 911. Fit is great, easy installation.

Not Impressed
Bought to upgrade the tone and loudness, it did neither. Switched on to an XC90, the stock horns are a deeper note (unless I'm missing a tone adjusting screw). The stock horns are just as loud. I will be replacing these with a full air horns kit, even though I don't want to use a compressor. The one good thing is they do look good.

Got What I Paid For
I pretty much got what I paid for. Nothing wrong with the horn, easy to install, works well, and shipped fast. I thought the sound would be a little more robust but was not. Would not recommend for a truck but a small sedan or other small car.

Wolo 897 Train Horn
Very bad, sound is very low. Installation was ok, but not an item that can be installed by a non mechanical person. I have worked on cars and trucks for over 30 years and had to use my knowledge to install correctly. The item was slightly damaged during shipment, and I took pictures, but this did not effect the sound, which I must repeat is low, maybe 60 des. I was expecting 150 des.or greater. It is not worth the money.

Dual Tone Horns
Installation of these two horns was a snap. The dual tone has a distinctive sound. And the price was unbelievable compared with what they wanted for original OEM horns.
