Wolo® - Bad Boy™ Chrome Air Horn

This is a great horn, that makes very loud sound and definitely louder than the stock horn on my motorcycle. The installation took about an hour, just follow the included wiring schematic. I had no problems since the install a month ago. Works good, great to get the attention of the traffic.

I bought this kinda as a gag to put on my Polaris RZR. The horn is very loud and does a great job even out on the trails with our loud ATVs. Since I did not have a horn on the rzr I had to buy a button. I found a cheap one on Amazon.

This horn appears to be a a fairly good quality product even though it is partially plastic. The price is about right on this product. I think that it is actually worth what they charge for it. It was very easy to mount and hook up, even though I had to run a ground wire to it since my vehicle only had one wire going to the horn. Overall, I am very pleased with this horn. It is loud! Time will tell about its dependability, but I am currently very pleased with it.

It's actually much louder replacement for your original factory horn. Wolo model 619 had high quality and deep tone. Perfect to get the attention of anyone not driving the way you want them to. I think I'll by second one soon.

I think this Wolo Air Horn great update for my motorcycle, most factory horns are weak and my wasn't an exception. Now I'm happy and proud with my horn sound. No more beep beep, now it's hooooonk, get outa my way!

As an avid motorcycle rider and realizing that the stock horn is very weak, I wanted to try out this horn on my bike. So many years ago, I bought this unit and installed it myself in less than five minutes. 12 Volt system, two plugs and one bolt - that's all you need. My first impression not having the engine running I noticed the extreme difference between this one and the OEM. During my first ride afterwards, I came up onto an intersection with a car driver trying to get into my lane. When I hit that horn that person hit the so hard and looked around for a bigger vehicle. I laughed and waved "Be careful and look where you are going" Probably saved both of us a bad day. This will definitely be mounted in my car as well. Quality is really good.

This is an excellent horn for the price. If you want it to actually sound as loud as a train you better buy one of those very expensive horns that has it's own compressor. This is a great replacement for the factory horn that is much louder. My truck had 2 horns installed above the drivers fender, so I spliced into it and kept one of them. This gives it a loud deep sound but also keeps the higher pitch from the OEM horn.

Wolo 416 kit complaints: instructions say to use 16ga wire, wire included in kit is 18ga, connectors in kit are 18ga. 20A fuse in kit is for 16ga and unsuitable to protect 18ga, insulated connector for side tab terminal of compressor (that instructions mention as important to use) does not fit into tab space. Wiring diagram does not mention that hi-lo_vs_both switch relies on case ground through mount point, and does not/cannot ground through ground tab on compressor end. I love the sound of this horn, and the ability to switch to a steady combined tone in town. Unfortunately, the quality control of the components doesn't seem great. Wolo does have phone tech support, but that conversation was not hugely helpful to us. My mechanic persuaded this Dec 2019 purchase (replacing a misbehaving much older Wolo 416 model) to work, so I can once again shoo deer off the road. Thanks for price matching.

Sound that it does is fine, but useless as it is not very loud.
