Universal Light Mounting Brackets (8007075) by Yakima®. No daylight, no problem. These brackets come in pairs and mount to your Load Warrior or MegaWarrior basket for added light on your off-road excursions. They are heavy-duty powdered steel and can accommodate lights of virtually any size or shape.

We've all experienced driving conditions where we wish we could see better. When you're out on the trail at night and need to see what obstacles are ahead, when you're driving in inclement weather and want to be able to react quickly, or when you're hooking up a trailer or launching a boat and you want to see what's behind you, are a few instances that come to mind. Increasing visibility at night requires adding lights for more illumination, but this can be a hassle requiring the installation of light bars and maybe some fabrication.

However, mounting more lights is a snap if you're equipped with a Yakima LoadWarrior or MegaWarrior Cargo Basket on your roof rack. The Yakima Light Mounting Bracket is specially designed to perfectly fit these baskets. You get 2 brackets so you can mount 2 lights, and each bracket will accept virtually any size or shape light. The lights can be mounted to the front or rear of the basket.

The Light Mounting Bracket comes with hardware and detailed, illustrated instructions and it's backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty

This limited warranty covers all Yakima-brand products and rack components manufactured by Yakima Products, Inc. (Yakima), and is effective for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.

Subject to Yakima’s inspection of the product, Yakima will remedy defects in materials and/or workmanship by repairing or replacing, at Yakima’s option, the defective product without charge for parts or labor, subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this warranty. Yakima may elect, at its option, not to repair or replace a defective product, in which case Yakima will issue to the original retail purchaser, at Yakima’s option, either a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the product, or a credit to be used toward the purchase of new Yakima products or rack components.

This warranty does not cover problems caused by normal wear and tear (including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, tears, or aesthetic oxidation of surfaces, or natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use), commercial use, accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or modifications or repairs not performed or authorized by Yakima. In addition, this warranty does not cover problems resulting from conditions beyond Yakima’s control including, but not limited to, theft, misuse, overloading, or failure to assemble, mount or use the product in accordance with Yakima’s written instructions or guidelines included with the product or made available to the original retail purchaser.

Great Bracket for Axe/Shovel

Easy to install, no drilling or cutting. Just put together and use. The design fits utilities very snug, no rattling nor shaking. The black color design blends in very well with the rack. I absolutely love this bracket, I will be buying another one soon to install in the other side, and maybe even install one on the inside of the rack too. I strongly recommend this to anyone who buys the Yakima Rack.

Awesome Looks, Odd Build Quality

The shield itself looks great, but it is just a glorified piece of plastic that’s held on basically with zip ties. That said the volume of the wind in the cab of the truck is dramatically decreased, I’m pleased with the product in every way, just wish there was a way to lock it onto the bars. I don’t live in the nicest areas, and the name Yakima does draw a little attention.

On Lockdown

They were easy to install and I feel safe leaving my bike attached to my car without fear of theft during my post-ride meal with the team.
