Universal MightyMount Mounting Brackets (8003590) by Yakima®. Quantity: Set of 4. Have a Yakima mount but don’t have a Yakima rack? No problem. This is the simple and economical way to mount to any size bar — factory or aerodynamic, and comes with Dynaflex padding to provide extra protection and grip. Come in sets of four.

Yakima knows that the less time you spend mounting bike or watercraft racks, the more time you can spend actually riding the bike or enjoying the water, so they created these custom mounts to perfectly interface between popular Yakima accessories and crossbars other than Yakima round crossbars. They simplify installation and simple is good.

If you have a factory rack system, Yakima upright bike mounts and some water sport accessories can be mounted to your crossbars with Yakima Horizontal MightyMounts. If you have a Whispbar Through, Flush, or RailBar system, you can mount some Yakima bike mounts and water sport accessories with MightyMount 32H mounts. And if you have a Whispbar HD system, MightyMount 34H mounts will enable some bike mounts and water sport accessories to be installed on your crossbars.

These mounts are sold in sets of 4 and they're backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty

This limited warranty covers all Yakima-brand products and rack components manufactured by Yakima Products, Inc. (Yakima), and is effective for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. This warranty terminates when the original retail purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product to any other person.

Subject to Yakima’s inspection of the product, Yakima will remedy defects in materials and/or workmanship by repairing or replacing, at Yakima’s option, the defective product without charge for parts or labor, subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this warranty. Yakima may elect, at its option, not to repair or replace a defective product, in which case Yakima will issue to the original retail purchaser, at Yakima’s option, either a refund equal to the purchase price paid for the product, or a credit to be used toward the purchase of new Yakima products or rack components.

This warranty does not cover problems caused by normal wear and tear (including, but not limited to, scratches, dents, tears, or aesthetic oxidation of surfaces, or natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use), commercial use, accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or modifications or repairs not performed or authorized by Yakima. In addition, this warranty does not cover problems resulting from conditions beyond Yakima’s control including, but not limited to, theft, misuse, overloading, or failure to assemble, mount or use the product in accordance with Yakima’s written instructions or guidelines included with the product or made available to the original retail purchaser.

Awesome Looks, Odd Build Quality

The shield itself looks great, but it is just a glorified piece of plastic that’s held on basically with zip ties. That said the volume of the wind in the cab of the truck is dramatically decreased, I’m pleased with the product in every way, just wish there was a way to lock it onto the bars. I don’t live in the nicest areas, and the name Yakima does draw a little attention.

Great Bracket for Axe/Shovel

Easy to install, no drilling or cutting. Just put together and use. The design fits utilities very snug, no rattling nor shaking. The black color design blends in very well with the rack. I absolutely love this bracket, I will be buying another one soon to install in the other side, and maybe even install one on the inside of the rack too. I strongly recommend this to anyone who buys the Yakima Rack.

On Lockdown

They were easy to install and I feel safe leaving my bike attached to my car without fear of theft during my post-ride meal with the team.
