Universal Trunk Mount Security Strap (8002623) by Yakima®. Don’t let your trunk mount go missing. With this steel-reinforced anti-theft security strap, you can secure almost any trunk mount to your vehicle. For use with HangOver, HalfBack, and older Yakima trunk racks.
Installation
This security strap is an easy to use method to secure your trunk mount bike rack. Before installing the rack, loop the anchor end of the strap around the bike rack frame and through the loop at the other end of the strap. Open the trunk or hatch and place the anchor over the leading edge of the trunk lid or hatch. Close the lid or hatch to trap the anchor inside, and once the trunk/hatch is locked and the rack is installed, the sturdy steel reinforced strap will deter theft of the rack from your vehicle.
The Trunk Mount Security Strap is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
