Product Details

Lincoln MKT 2011, RK Series Premium Plain 1-Piece Brake Rotors by EBC®. Quantity: 2 Per Pack. Redstuff ceramic brake pads have always been known for its low dust ability but the latest blend has greatly reduced the phenomenon of pad “Pick up” or disc scoring and reduced dust even further. Tested at the UK Motor Industries Research Association (MIRA) in witnessed tests early Redstuff reduced car stopping distance in tests by almost 50 feet from 100 MPH offering a staggering 30% brake improvement.

Installation

Formulated specifically for heavier cars and trucks with high levels of performance, Redstuff™ pads can handle the heat generated by heavy loads and provide long life while generating minimal dust residue. While they provide a more gradual level of grip than EBC Yellowstuff™ pads, their braking power is nonetheless a substantial improvement over semi-metallic brake pads. During independent tests at 100 miles per hour, Redstuff™ brake pads have been shown to reduce the distance it took to stop some vehicles by 50 feet. In the real world, that's three car lengths – a remarkable safety improvement when what's important is on the line.

Ceramic brake pads are used in Formula 1, Nascar, and most forms of championship racing for many reasons. When braking at sustained speeds of over 200 miles per hour, enough heat is generated on brake components to make rotors glow. Ceramic brake pads offer the ability to stay cool under the most severe conditions. Used with perforated rotors, heat buildup is reduced so much that brake fade from fluid reaching boiling temperature is all but eliminated. While you may not drive under these conditions, the benefits of these pads can be enjoyed at any speed. Ceramic brake pads are far quieter due to their higher resonant frequency undetectable by human ears, and once the initial bed-in period of 1,500-miles has passed, you'll rarely hear any noise from Redstuff™ pads. Equally important, the brake dust that ceramic pads produce is far less, finer in consistency, and non-adhesive to wheel surfaces. You don't need to drive on a racetrack to enjoy the benefits Redstuff™ ceramic brake pads offer, and we offer them at a value-packed price that matches what some dealers charge for traditional pads.

EBC is the Best Choice
A few years ago, I purchased EBC performance rotors and brake pads from AnythingAuto for my 2015 Honda Odyssey. I initially replaced the factory rotors with Power Stop rotors, but they wore out within a few months. That’s when I came across EBC during my search for better options. After reading several positive reviews, I decided to try their products, and I was honestly impressed. I went with the "duty" pads, and they provided serious stopping power, which is crucial for a large vehicle like the Odyssey. The performance was noticeably better than anything I had used before. Fast forward to my 2020 Toyota 4Runner. My factory rotors started going bad around 50,000 miles. This time, I ordered EBC rotors from TRUCKiD. The items arrived in good packaging, although I was a bit surprised that no stickers or extras were included. Installation was straightforward and easy. I’ve driven about 2,500 miles since the install and so far everything has been great.mostly driven 90% highway and with quick breaking , No issues with braking performance or vibration. I recommend this .

Great Replacement from OE
I been using EBC pads and Rotors for 10yrs now. It’s great replacement from OE, but these rotors are heavily coated make sure to burn the paint or do the proper procedure to break them in.

Much Better Than OEM
These rotors perform much better than OEM. I warp my OEM rotors after just a few weeks. After breaking these in, i drove hard and felt no pulsating or vibration. Also these rotors are 33mm thick compared to OEM 30mm. So they absorb heat better. I like the anti-corrosion coating on it as well.

No Need For Drilled And Slotted
I ordered the EBC rotors for my 2004 Toyota Tundra and received them promptly and in good condition. It was packaged excellently, showing no damage from shipping and no use of nasty plastic packaging. Plain and simple in a cardboard box with packing paper. The rotors bolted right up, and because they are not drilled or slotted by some crappy manufacturer I expect them to hold up well for a long time. The drilled and slotted phase is a hoax, just look up Formula One brakes and you will see what I mean.

Better Than the OEM
From the packaging to the the rotors everything looks great. Installation was easy just like the OEM discs and got a couple hundred miles on them till now they seem to be running fine. The black rotor style makes the car look unique and I hope will protect from rust. Better than the OEM price and quality wise. Same as the rear rotors but these were vented so you know.
