Great for the Price
Bought this for a 2019 Tiguan SE/3rd row. Shipping was fast and product arrived in great condition. Install was pretty straight forward but required a bot of elbow grease. I did it by myself in about 30 minutes but could use a second person if not to savy. A 16mm for the frame and I believe a 12mm for the exhaust, ratchet, breaker bar and a floor jack was all the tools needed. I dropped the exhaust hangers, lined up and attached the 2 bolts near the exhaust hangers so it became more manageable. Then used the floor jack as extra hands to support and line up the 2 other bolts near the rear. I got this for a bike rack so I am not worried about towing anything on this. It looks good and has clearance so no modifications needed.

Good Trailer Hitch
I bought this trailer hitch for a 2018 Tiguan. Delivery was quick. The frame, weld seams and paint finish are well done and the overall quality is good. The hitch is sturdy and I’ve had no problems so far. Installation took a little bit longer than expected, but mainly because the frame / assembly holes on the rails are close to rear floor pan and in order to fit the trailer hitch frame to the car body, I’ve had to remove a little bit of underbody wax from the corners. I recommend a second person for the installation. You might not have to loosen the exhaust, but it definitely helps. The torque specs for the trailer hitch bolts are given, but it would be nice to also know the specification for the exhaust bolts. Overall, very satisfied with the product!

EXACT FIT!
The trailer hitch was an EXACT match to my 2017 Cadillac XT5. It is completely hidden behind bumper cover, which I love, because it's not an eyesore when not in use. Don't forget the wire kit! U-Haul will charge upwards of $300+ for the hitch and wire kit installation, so watch the YouTube video and get a buddy to help or find a local mechanic and save some money.
