The Fusion, as its name describes, quite literally fuses tri-fold accessibility with paint-to-match finishing. Fold the panels open for quick and easy full bed access or keep them closed for added security and styling. The cover is constructed from heavy-duty aluminum panels and comes with interior and exterior weather seals to keep snow, rain, and other elements out.

Whether you need your truck to be your work companion or want a more visually appealing look when you are off the jobsite, the Fusion is for you. Featuring a low-profile design and constructed out of aircraft-grade aluminum panels that are painted in your OEM color, this cover is both super stylish and functional. And it comes with exterior and interior seals that don’t let the elements in, giving your cargo maximum protection. The Fusion is also dent-resistant and carpeted underneath, so be sure it will look great for a long time. It is designed to provide maximum coverage when closed and allow for full truck bed access when opened. To hold it in an open position, you just have to lift it towards the cab and set the support arms in place. What’s more, you can open and close your tailgate while keeping the cover closed. Installing the Fusion is an easy process because it has L-rails that mount to the truck bed rails with clamp-on brackets.

Warranty

A.R.E. warrants the structure of your Fusion cover to be structurally free from defects in material and workmanship for (5) five years from the retail date of purchase. The hinges, seals, and hardware are also warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for (5) five years from the retail date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

The following statement is valid for the paint only: A.R.E. warrants, for the life of the product, that the exterior paint will not abnormally fade or peel, due to material or workmanship defect, faster than the original pickup it was installed on. Covers not painted at the factory are excluded from this warranty. A.R.E. does not guarantee a 100% paint match. Due to variables from one truck’s paint to another, some variance is to be expected.

The following statement is valid for the paint only:: The paint finish on your A.R.E. Fusion is a base coat/clear coat automotive finish. Care for the painted finish on the cover as you do the painted finish on your truck. Avoid using any abrasive cleaners or cloths on your cover. Use only cleaners and waxes that are safe for use on clear coat paint finishes.

Exclusions

Not covered under this warranty is failure due to neglect, improper installation, including any modifications to installation hardware, alterations, addition of equipment, abuse, accident, weather-related damage, exposure to chemicals that are not labeled "safe for rubber" and normal wear from lack of maintenance.

Caution

Always read the ingredients of any product you are using to clean your Fusion Cover. Make sure that you use only products that are safe for use with rubber. Many chemicals contain material that will permanently discolor or damage your Fusion Cover hinges and seals. This is not considered a manufacturer’s defect

Owner Responsibilities

Incidental or consequential damage or loss of contents due to use, neglect, lack of maintenance, misuse, or abuse of the Fusion Cover is the sole responsibility of the truck owner and operator. Paint damage to your truck is not covered under this warranty. When operating your truck, always keep the Fusion Cover in either the fully closed and latched position or one of the two approved open positions. The first approved open position would be the first, second, and third panels stacked onto the forth panel, and the buckles must be secured together. The second approved open position would be all four panels standing up vertically behind the cab. In this position, both prop rods must be attached and the buckles secured. Do not operate the truck at excessive speeds with the Fusion Cover in either open position. A.R.E. recommends periodically checking the front retainer clamp/star knob assembly to ensure a proper fit.

Repair and Replacement

In the event that your Fusion Cover is found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, it is at the discretion of A.R.E. to repair or replace the defective part. All repairs must be made under the direction of A.R.E. Maintenance & Care The panels of your Fusion Cover require only periodic cleaning with mild car wash soap. Avoid the use of all abrasive type cleaners as they may dull the finish. Some chemicals and fluids such as insect repellents, oils, solvents, and lubricants could potentially damage the rubber hinges and seals and void the warranty.
