    Product Details

    Supertop™ Convertible Top by Bestop®. Finish: Black Diamond. When you need more space than a tonneau can provide but don't want the permanence and inflexibility of a bed cap, you need a Bestop Convertible Top. In the raised position, the Supertop will give you all the space and protection of a hard bed cap, but in minutes it can be folded forward for full bed access. The Supertop includes the fabric, tinted, zip-out side and rear windows, rails, and hardware. The premium grade fabric is mildew resistant and UV protected, with industrial strength thread, heat sealed seams, and heavy-duty molded zippers.

    Truck bed storage room and protection usually comes in 2 flavors: Everything that's no higher than the bed sides will fit under a tonneau cover, but if it's taller you'll need a bed cap. Tonneaus are much more flexible in that they can be opened for complete bed access, but bed caps are much more permanent installations, and require a hoist or a few people to lift off the truck bed. Now Bestop has added a 3rd, much more enticing flavor of bed storage and protection with the Supertop Convertible Top. In the normal, raised position, the Supertop provides all the space and protection of a hard bed cap, but when full bed access is needed, it can be folded forward in a manner of minutes.

    The Supertop includes the premium grade fabric, tinted, zip-out side and rear windows, rails, and hardware. The side and rear windows can be easily removed for convenient bed access with the top raised, and the rear window can be rolled up and retained with straps if desired. The rails attach to the bed sides with 4 clamps. The heavy-duty, diamond point grain fabric is mildew resistant, and UV protected to prevent fading, and constructed with industrial strength thread for a top that will last. All seams are heat sealed to protect your valuable cargo from the elements, and heavy-duty molded tooth zippers are used to withstand repeated removal and installation. The quick bow release makes for easy removal.

    Comprehensive, illustrated instructions are provided along with all the necessary hardware for installation. Replacement side window kits are available. The Supertop Convertible Top Kit is covered by a limited 5-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

    Rail and Brackets
    I bought this top for my 2018 Tacoma. There are a few issues with this product from not being water tight to extremely tight fit of the soft cover. However the main problem that I have are the brackets. They are not holding the rail. After driving on the highway for about an hour, I noticed that one end of the rail moved toward the bed. In addition, the rails are sloped, indicating that the brackets are poorly designed.

    Not Impressed
    First off I had a best top 2 times before. Once on a 97 jeep and a 1991 miata. These tops were supreme quality. This super top is dissapointing. The canvas, windows and zippers are the same great quality, but the remainder of items is very lacking. Tirst off after assembly there are daylight corners at the front. There are also daylight holes in the stitching in various places. The metal strips that attach to the bed are weaker than the tension of the top. The clamp cannot go to the very end due to the truck bed design and causes terrible twist and lift from the bed. Needs to be drilled and bolted down. Also know this top does not fit flush with the edges of the bed. The top kinda sits 1 inch from the outside line of the bed. Should be flush like a camper shell. Many pieces were paint scratched in their plastic wrapper due to loose packaging. the third brake light is a complete joke. first off it came cracked being loose in the box as well. Second it's the cheapest Chinese light I have ever seen. Even the package isn't in English. You can't even look it up to find a replacement due to its just some random bolt on light. I'ts very obvious that the brake light is an after thought. It's really just some random light they threw in and said self tapper it in on the back bar. This could be a good product but it really seems like an unfinished product. The daylight through the stitching is just the killer for no quality.

    Awesome Cover
    I love the top on my truck. It protects items inside, which there is always something in the bed. The only problem I have is the windows! The flange at the top of the windows is supposed to snap down onto another flange. Lots of time, the top one will not snap onto the bottom one, or as you snap them on, part of it comes off and you can't replace it. It becomes quite frustrating! Also, the bar at the back, above the tailgate has to be on just right, or the tailgate won't shut. Other than dealing with these minor problems, the top looks and works great.

    Convertible Top
    This is the second one I have purchased. Once order for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma and it lasted beyond expectation. I was so impressed with the quality and durability that I purchased a new top for my new 2017 Tacoma. This is a great product. I particularly like its ability to collapse with ease so that large items may be placed in the bed.

    Great Topper
    I'm very happy with this product. The installation was a bit tricky as the fabric is very tight fit. I'd probably make the screws a tad longer.

    Bestop Supertop On F350 Leaks
    The super top looks good on the truck. I didn't like how it fits in some places it had ripples where the side windows met the top. It had leaks on both top seams, its possible they could have been fixed with seam sealer, but I never bothered and just sold it. I also didn't like how the front part of it velcroed to the front of the bed, because I had a bed liner I had to go and screw the velcro down and then it still leaked. I also didn't like how you had to carefully remove the side windows and store them somewhere flat in order to roll it up.

    Must-Have for Hunters
    no sagging at all. Exactly what I needed for hunting season. It keeps all my gear dry and gives me way more room in the bed for hauling stuff. I was worried it might be noisy on the highway but it's surprisingly quiet.

    Great for Everyday Use
    I use my truck for work and needed something to keep my tools dry. This top does the job perfectly. Love that you can remove the side windows if you need to haul something tall. Install wasn't hard.

    Perfect for My Ranger
    I love this thing. It's super practical. Keeps my camping gear dry and folds down easy when I need to haul something big. Yeah install is a pain, but what truck mod isn't? Once you get past that it's awesome.
