    Class 2 Square Concealed Rear Trailer Hitch without Insert (12169) by CURT®. Color: Black. The Weight Carrying Capacity is 3500 lbs, while the Tongue Weight is 350 lbs, and the Receiver Tube Opening Size is 1-1/4". This makes it an excellent choice for smaller size trailers such as single-axle utility trailers, small boat trailers, popup campers and some recreational vehicle trailers. CURT class 2 trailer hitches are generally used on full-size cars, crossover SUVs, compact SUVs, minivans and even some smaller pickup trucks.

    Neat And Clean Look!
    Easy 30 minute install, no holes to drill only small notch on bumper cover. I like the way it looks on my vehicle.

    Easy To Install, Well Sort Of...
    The only thing that I had a problem with when doing the installation is step 1: lower the exhaust system. I pulled, yanked, prodded, and cussed a lot, but the rubber pieces holding the mufflers in place would not budge. I called the company and they said to spray WD-40 on the rubber. When I did that, they came off easily. I wish they would have mentioned that little hint in the instructions. After that, the rest went very well. I put LocTite on the bolts, even though they said it wasn't necessary. I sure don't want this thing coming loose. The hitch looks great. The receiver is tilted to the right a slight bit, but it is no problem. I am very pleased with this hitch.

    This hitch went on with any hitches. Took about 6hr. total, but no scratches, and install went well. Tail lights were slow to remove, and a lot of stuff to take off and put back. Overall, 5 stars.

    So Far So Good
    I have no complaints of the product so far. Seems well built and sturdy. The issue is the packing, although it is a solid piece of metal, it should be secured in the packing box in which it does not poke through the box and the hitch is not bouncing around. It works despite the lousy packing.

    Don't Believe The Installation Time
    It is just what it's supposed to be. It looks just like you expect it to. There are two issues with the installation. First, the vehicle exhaust is in the way of one of the holes you need to drill. Instructions say it should take 60-75 minutes to install but I spent that much time just on drilling that hole. Second, there's a fuel filler clamp that needs to be removed so that the hitch can go against the frame. The clamp then goes over the hitch. Problem is that the bolt for the hitch is in the way of the clamp, so the clamp needs to be modified. 2006 Pontiac G6 Sedan.
