Product Details

Universal 1-7/8" Class 1 Chrome Trailer Hitch Ball by Draw-Tite®. Weight Capacity: 2000 lbs GTW. Hitch balls come in different sizes and styles. Keep in mind the hitch ball weight rating should always be equal to or larger than the hitch and ball mount being used. Transform your vehicle into a reliable load-hauling machine by installing this superior trailer hitch. With this product that is made utilizing only the highest quality materials and the latest manufacturing technologies, you can safely haul your loads no matter whether you're simply going from point A to B or heading for a long trip. Built to last, it brings a great combination of durability and worry-free performance

Always use the properly rated hitch ball for your towing system. Your towing system's maximum weight rating will always be no better than the single lowest-rated item in the system. Your hitching system cannot be upgraded to a rating higher than the maximum rating of your hitch. For example, a 3500 lb-rated ball on a 2000 lb max trailer weight-rated hitch does not increase your towing capacity to 3500 lb. Your hitching system is still rated at 2,000 lb. Conversely, a 2000 lb-rated ball on a 3500 lb max trailer weight-rated hitch decreases your maximum towing capacity to only 2000 lb.

The hitch ball diameter must be the same diameter as the trailer coupler (1-7/8", 2", or 2-5/16").

The shank diameter of the hitch ball should be the same as the hole diameter in the (correct) ball mount you selected. The shank length should be long enough to allow at least two threads to protrude past the tightened nut. That means a 3 3/8" shank if you're attaching to a solid 2" bar ball mount, or at least 1-1/2" to a 3/8" plate ball mount.

Nice Product for the Price
All good and as advertised, except for the latch. If the door cannot close shut, then parts will scatter, and that's not good. I really like the locking pin, makes it tough to steal.

TRUCKiD Receiver
The receiver looks and works good for the trailer that I pull. The aluminum will only pull up to 8,000 pounds. My truck pulls up to 10,000 pounds. Will have to change trailer hitches for bigger payloads.

Good Bang For Your Buck!
I'm happy with the fact that this item is solid steel. Also like that when it's installed, it doesn't stick out for a mile beyond the bumper. I haven't busted my shins yet.

Forged Ball Moun
This was a very well constructed ball mount. It is a solid piece of metal extremely heavy. I was very pleased with the way it was made. If you are looking for a good ball mount to use with pulling a heavy travel trailer this is it.

Aluminum Ball Moun
This was exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased. It fits the hitch assembly correctly and does what it should. It is not something to have to worry about when using a hitch and towing a trailer.
