K&N® 57-0693 - 57i Series Generation II High-Density Polyethylene Black Cold Air Intake System with Red Filter and Intake Pipe

The K&N 57i Series Generation II Induction Kit improves intake airflow from the air filter all the way to the throttle body. The system starts with the world famous K&N high flow air filter. K&N uses the largest conical shaped air filter that will fit in the engine compartment. The large increase in filter area over the stock airbox filter results in a huge increase in airflow and a greater capacity to capture and hold dirt.

The filter is attached to a precision molded intake tube that connects the filter to the throttle body. The tube is precisely designed to reduce turbulence and accelerate airflow into the engine. The rotationally molded intake tube is made from interlaced high density Polyethylene, reducing intake air temperature from similar metal tubes. Intake air temperature is further reduced by a heat shield that isolates the filter from the engine compartment. The reduction in air intake temperatures results in a cooler, denser air intake charge and even more horsepower. Some applications may also include an additional flex tube for cold air applications.

K&N uses a dynamometer to design its air intake kits to make the most horsepower possible. But their power figures aren't based on just one vehicle, but rather an average of runs by a number of vehicles. This means repeatable numbers and horsepower claims you can count on.

Every 57i Series Generation II Induction Kit comes complete with everything necessary for installation, including comprehensive installation instructions. All adapters are manufactured from high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicon or reinforced nylon, to ensure long life.
