Product Details

77 Series High-Flow Performance Aluminum Polished Cold Air Intake System (77-1561KP) by K&N®. The K&N high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow.

Installation

K&N® - 77 Series High-Flow Performance Air Intake System Installation Instruction

The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a couple of replacement silicone crank case vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use, or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for 10-Years or a Million Miles, whichever comes first, from the date the product was purchased. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

The K&N Cold Air Intake

The product is amazing. Looks great, installation was quick and easy very simple directions for those who need them and the performance of this product is to me non-comparable to any other. I feel it is the better intake system out of others and K&N products are made to last and give great results. They know how to satisfy their customers.
