The Challenger is Lund's broadest and most sophisticated line of construction grade tool boxes, available in a variety of configurations. But while they may come in different versions, all Challenger tool boxes share premium construction and features. Start with the thick wall, heavy-duty diamond plate aluminum construction that will never peel, pit, or rust, ensuring that whatever model Challenger you purchase, it will provide you with many years of dependable service. Then add the patented foam reinforced lid that provides increased strength and rigidity, and excellent sound deadening. The quick release lever locking system and stainless steel paddle handles allow the box to be easily opened from either side of the bed, and dual commercial-grade gas struts make lid opening effortless.

While most manufacturers are content to make an open box and leave the rest up to you, Lund has loaded the Challenger with features to help you organize your gear to make the most efficient use of space, like a rubber mat to keep tools or other gear from sliding around, removable and built-in tool trays to organize small tools and hardware, and built-in screwdriver holders.

Depending on application, the Challenger Tool Box is available in brite or black finish, standard or low profile, and dual lid versions, with lids that open toward the back of the truck or open to the sides. All can be installed with the included hardware, with no drilling required on most applications. The Challenger Tool Box is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to the original purchaser as long as he or she owns the vehicle on which the product is installed.
