Product Details

Hard Folding Tonneau Cover (969155) by Lund®. The new Hard Fold tonneau cover is the latest addition to top selling premium tonneau covers. The Hard Fold has been designed exclusively with an aluminum underbody frame covered with the highest marine grade vinyl on top. Maximum security is provided through impact resistant panels and simplifies installation and operation. To open, simply unclamp the locking handles and fold the cover forward. The nylon straps hold the cover in the open position when you need to haul your cargo.

Cargo in an unprotected pickup truck bed can become moisture damaged and corrode from exposure to rain and snow, and faded from the sun. Objects can blow out of the bed from high winds and the same winds can cause debris to blow in and collect in the bed. An open pickup bed creates aerodynamic drag, making the engine work harder, which takes more fuel, and by anyone's standards a bed covered with a smart looking tonneau just looks better than a cluttered, open bed. The warranty applies to the original purchaser as long as he or she owns the vehicle on which the product is installed.

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on all Lund International, Inc.'s Lund International, AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and Deflecta-Shield® Accessories branded products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed below under the One-Year Warranty, Two-Year Warranty or Three-Year Warranty. This warranty does not apply to any product from Lund International's direct or indirect subsidiaries.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product is installed. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited One-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship on all Pro-Line® branded replacement carpets - Challenger™, Ultima™ and Contender™ branded storage boxes - All Cargo Management products except the Folding Aluminum Ramp, Folding Aluminum Arched Ramp, Bi-Fold Ramps and Tri-Fold Ramps properly installed per provided instructions.

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint, painting or powder coating on Seal-Tite™ branded storage boxes properly installed per provided instructions.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last two years from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited Three-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on the Stainless Interceptor™, Folding Aluminum Ramp, Folding Aluminum Arched Ramp, Bi-Fold Ramps and Tri-Fold Ramps properly installed per provided instructions.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last three years from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

What Lund International Will Do: During the applicable warranty period listed above, Lund International will, at its option replace any defective product at no charge. You must pay any labor charges associated with removing or reinstalling the product. If a specific product has been discontinued, Lund International may, at its option, replace your product with a current product of comparable function and value.

What These Warranties Will Not Cover: These warranties do not cover any damage, defect, or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, improper installation, modification, improper or inadequate maintenance, or on-road and off-road hazards. Incidental and consequential damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.

How Does State Law Apply? This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province. This warranty statement supersedes all previous warranty statements in AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and/or Deflecta-Shield® Accessories catalogs or other marketing materials.

I have purchased 3 Lund tri-folds now and have been satisfied. I did buy one for my son's truck in 2010 and the frame did brake near the tailgate at about 3 years old. I bought one for myself as well in 2010 and that one still looks good and functions very well, that is why I just bought another one when I bought a new truck.

Good Value

Good cover for the money. Easy to install, and it can be taken off and set to the side of the bed in case you are out and decide to haul something big. It also comes with a lock now. That's cool.
