Warranty Policy
Megan Racing products are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. Warranty only covers the initial purchaser and will not transfer to second-hand users.
Megan Racing does not honor any warranty claims purchased from an unauthorized dealer.
This warranty does not cover: scratches on the products; damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of the product; unauthorized modifications or repairs; normal wear and tear or aging of the product such as discoloration. Damage caused by loose or overtightened components will be exempt from this warranty. Off-road use only. Do not use this product on vehicles which will be driven on public roads.
Keep your factory suspension. Megan Racing will not provide temporary components to replace parts sent to Megan Racing for inspection. The retrofit of air suspension or similar devices will void warranty.
Megan Racing components are not completely torqued out of the box.
No Megan Racing reseller, distributor, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this limited product warranty. If any term contained herein is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
Carbon Spoiler Warranty
Megan Racing offers a limited 6-month warranty on the clear coat and manufacturer defects (e.g. receiving a brand new carbon fiber spoiler that is faded is considered a manufacturer defect). Scratches, hairline fractures and other damages found on the product upon arrival are considered shipping damages and not manufacturer defects. Megan Racing warranty extends only to vehicles that have not had any bodywork done to the vehicle. As a precaution, test fit all parts before you cut/paint/drill the products. The company test fits all parts before making them available for sale. However, customers need to understand that no aftermarket body parts will fit exactly like OEM.
Note: Your carbon fiber product is durable, but it still needs maintenance to stay looking good. To avoid premature aging, it is important to keep your carbon fiber product clean. Minimize exposure to the sun and water spots. Also, remember to wax your carbon fiber product when necessary.
Exhaust Systems Warranty
Stainless Steel Exhaust Systems come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects, such as defective resonators, mufflers, and welds between piping and flanges. Any dents found on the piping are considered shipping damages; Megan Racing exhaust system warranty extends only when the product is installed on the vehicle for which the exhaust product was designed for as noted by the part number. Any custom modification(s) to the exhaust systems automatically voids the product warranty.
Shocks and Struts
Megan Racing shocks and struts come with an 18-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
High-Performance Brake Systems Warranty
Megan Racing high-performance brake systems come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects found within the caliper. This warranty is limited to manufacturer defects since brake system performance is directly relative to system use and installation. Megan Racing high-performance brake systems are guaranteed to be free of structural, material or workmanship defects as delivered. Megan Racing rotors are covered with a 3-month / 2-dot warranty. Appearance of 2 dots specifically designed to appear on the rotor after its expected warranty duration automatically voids the warranty of the rotor. Warranty on rotors is limited to 3 months due to the life expectancy of rotors being dependent on their use and installation. Improper installation and use of Megan Racing brake system automatically void the warranty. If the product is found to be defective under the terms of this warranty, it is at the sole discretion of Megan Racing to replace the product.
Megan Racing is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense either consequential or incidental, resulting from the use of this product. Megan Racing assumes no responsibility for any losses, costs or expenses expended as a result of a defective product or the return for warranty determination of the said product. Due to the fact that racing is a dangerous sport, the buyer assumes all risk and liability resulting from the use of said product(s).
