Product Details

Class 1 Concealed Trailer Hitch by Rugged Ridge®. Color: Black. The Weight Carrying Capacity is 2000 lbs, while the Tongue Weight is 200 lbs, and the Receiver Tube Opening Size is 2". If you want to tow with your Jeep but it didn't come with the trailer tow package, add this 2" receiver hitch and get it done. It bolts directly to factory mounting points and is designed similar to the OE hitch. Durable one-piece welded assembly is powder coated for durability and features cutout for wiring harness. Matches Wrangler towing capacity: 2000 lbs. for 2DR and 3500 lbs. for 4DR.

The active Jeep lifestyle usually includes more toys than just your Jeep, and you want to take them with you on your outdoor adventures. So when it comes time to tow your boat, motorcycles, camper, etc. you need this 2" receiver hitch. It's designed to be similar to the OE hitch included with the trailer tow package, and bolts to the factory mounting points at the rear of the vehicle. Designed as a1-piece welded assembly for added strength, this hitch is then powder coated to shed water and provide a long lasting rust-free finish. It includes a cutout for the wiring harness, which is included with the kit.

The 2" receiver hitch is built to match the towing capacity of your Jeep: 3500 lb. tow rating and 350 lb. tongue weight rating for the 4DR, and 2000 lb. tow rating and 200 lb. tongue weight rating for the 2DR. It comes with mounting hardware and installation instructions and it's backed by a 5-year limited warranty.

What is Not Covered?

Your Omix-ADA Limited Warranty does not cover damage or claims to any component, vehicle or person other than the Omix-ADA product purchased. Your Limited Warranty does not cover damage or claims to any component, vehicle or person Omix-ADA determines to have been damaged by or subjected to:

Inadequate mounting or installation, water, alteration, modification, misuse or failure to maintain
Damage in any part attributable to: (a.) vehicle systems or components (including electronic stability control) or (b.) combination with non-Omix-ADA products
Normal wear and tear/product deterioration
Scratches or defects in product finishes or damage due to shipping
Accidents, impact by rocks, trees, obstacles or other aspects of the use environment
Theft, vandalism or other negligent or intentional damage

RUGGED RIDGE LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR FLOOR LINERS

This Rugged Ridge product is covered by the Limited Lifetime Warranty explained below that gives you specific legal rights. This limited warranty is the only warranty Rugged Ridge makes in connection with your product purchase. Parts sold by Rugged Ridge but supplied by other vendors are exclusively warranted by the vendor supplying the part. Rugged Ridge neither assumes nor authorizes any vendor, retailer or other person or entity to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with this product or Limited Warranty.

Racing or other vehicle competitions or contests. Accidents, impact by rocks, trees, obstacles or other aspects of the environment
Theft, vandalism or other intentional damage

Quality Piece

Pretty easy to install. Getting the washer and nut on the back side is very tight. Need some long needle nose pliers. Only room for an open end wrench in the space, but it can be done. Probably 30 minutes to install with simple hand tools.

Looks Like OEM

Great value for the money... The Jeep dealer said I could have one installed for $200. Then pay $130 for the OEM wiring harness. Glad I found the web site for Rugged Ridge products. Easy to install.
